Refund Policy
Month-to-month engagements
All standard engagements run month-to-month. You may cancel for any reason with 14 days' written notice. We do not pro-rate refunds within the cancellation notice period because work-in-flight is delivered through end-of-cycle.
Forensic baseline
The forensic baseline (typically $4,800) is paid up front. If the baseline reveals that DefendMyRep is not the right fit for your situation, we refund 100% within 7 days of delivery. Honest assessments are non-negotiable.
Crisis activation fees
Crisis activation fees are non-refundable once the crisis cell mobilizes (typically within 60 minutes of a Tier-1 declaration). Watch fees on retainer remain pro-rated for the unused portion of the billing period.
Service quality guarantee
If we miss a stated deliverable inside a billing cycle, we credit the value of that deliverable against the next month's invoice. This is in writing in every engagement letter.
Disputes
If you believe we have not delivered, email intel@defendmyrep.io with subject "Refund Request" and a brief description. The engagement director reviews and responds within 10 business days. Unresolved disputes proceed to arbitration per the engagement letter.
