Our thesis

The reputation industry needed math. So we wrote some.

Reputation defense used to be a sales-driven services category that priced on intuition and reported on vibes. We launched DefendMyRep with one premise: an executive paying $5k a month for reputation defense deserves to know why — and to see the model that says so.

Five operating principles

How we run, in plain language.

01

The model is published.

You see the posterior, the segment ranks, the assumptions. No "concern levels" — only probabilities, only with sources.

02

No tactic that ages into a liability.

No fake court orders. No paid press laundering. No purchased reviews. No edit-warring. Everything we ship would survive a press exposé.

03

Month-to-month. Always.

Our competitors lock clients into 12–36 months. We don't. If the math stops adding value, you walk — no penalty, no surrender of assets.

04

Senior team, no junior-hand-off.

The person you meet on the strategy call is the person who runs your account. We do not throw client work over the wall to a freshly minted analyst.

05

The 6-hour rule.

If we are on retainer and a Tier-1 incident hits, senior counsel is on the line in 60 minutes and a holding statement is drafted in 90. No exceptions, no auto-responders.

Who runs the work

A senior team, anonymized by client preference.

Most of our roster is anonymized at our clients' request — reputation defenders shouldn't have a public roster. The seats are real; the names appear when an engagement starts.

Crisis Counsel

Bar-admitted in NY + CA. Twelve years of media-law defense including defamation, anti-SLAPP, and platform-takedown coordination.

Senior Wikipedia Editor

14,000+ legitimate edits, COI-disclosed throughout, no admin block history. Survives review where other firms get banned.

Threat Intel Lead

Former big-three consultancy threat-intel; runs the Aperture grid and the Bayesian re-baseline cycle.

Synthetic-Media Forensics

PhD-level audio + video forensic specialist. Maintains the deepfake detection ensemble and evidence chain.

Media Relations Lead

Former national-desk byline. Real relationships with editors at the outlets that move SERPs.

Engagement Director

Your single point of contact. Reads every report, signs every plan, takes every Tier-1 call.

The 6-hour rule

The first six hours decide the next five years.

One short call. Walk away with a printed defense plan — whether or not you ever sign with us.
